My name is Jalon, but to the world I'm known as Jaylawn. Jaylawn is just the pronunciation of Jalon and I was given this name by a college classmate. I decided to become one with the name due to it being mispronounced all the time. My creative journey starts off a bit different than others, but the origin story is what makes everyone unique. I started off as college student wanting to pursue medical and become a Physician Assistant specializing in Pediatrics. Unfortunately, I hit a bump in the road and couldn't afford college which led me to dropping out. I'm grateful for this because had I not, I wouldn't be on the creative path that I am on now. Who would have thought I would be posing in front of a camera? I sure wouldn't have, neither would I have thought that I would be a music artist. The world works in mysterious ways and the result of these ways is Jaylawn. The Next Big Thing.
THE WAYS OF JAY
Everyone has a certain way of doing things, but no one does it like Jay. There are three main things that I do on the daily: Pray, Eat and Sleep. Of course I shower because hygiene is very important, but you get the gist. I'm very family oriented, but at the same time I love my alone time. During my time of solitude, I listen to beats and write music. This hobby of mine has became a creative outlet to express my feelings.
